As announced in the July 24th edition of InFocus, Winstead has a new kiosk for parent sign-in!
Visitors to Williamson County schools will need to go through a slightly different process when entering a school building this year. A new visitor check in system was piloted at several schools last year, and based on the success of the pilot, it will be implemented across the district in 25-26.
As always, all visitors will need their driver's license or photo ID to enter the building. (Must have physical ID, not a picture on your phone.)
After entering the front office, visitors will stop at the kiosk and click "Visitors" to start the process:
- Click "Check In" and take a photo. After taking the photo, click "Close."
- Hold the driver's license in front of the camera located on the back of the iPad and take a photo. Flip the driver's license over to scan the bar code.
Select the destination.
- Click "Check In" one final time to print a visitor badge.
Reach out to the office if you have any questions about the visitor procedure.
