All Wildcat Parents are automatically part of Winstead PTO. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about volunteering opportunities or share your thoughts on activities and events!

This role can be led by one person or shared as a small team.

Help connect our PTO with local businesses to support school programs and events. Outreach is simple and community-focused — emails, follow-ups, and occasional visits to drop off sponsorship info. No formal meetings required.

Most outreach happens over the summer to prepare for the school year, with a few Spirit Nights coordinated throughout the year.

Sponsorships help expand student programs, enhance events, support teachers, and keep costs lower for families.

Flexible and team-oriented. You can lead solo or share the role. The PTO works collaboratively—you won’t be doing this alone

March 26 & 27th On two days in the Spring we set up breakfast for Wildcats and their parents. This event is so much fun we had to split it into two days!

Every Wednesday smoothies are back!!  Students can choose from Strawberry Banana or Peach Mango for $4 each. They come with a straw and lid so students can take them to class. They are a huge hit and sell out fast!

To pre-pay for smoothies, send a Venmo to @Lauren-Perry-21 by 9pm Tuesday night with your child's name, and they can pick up Wednesday morning. Cash is also accepted.  

April 1st  Help us show the faculty and staff at Winstead how much they are loved and appreciated. Two grades host a staff lunch three times during the year. Event volunteers will help with preparing food, set-up, serving and clean-up. More information here.

March 23-27th The proceeds from the Spring Book Fair benefit our Wildcat's Library. Your child's shopping time will come home in your Wildcat's purple folder.
