October 2nd is the 5th Grade Car Wash. Proceeds from the car wash go to the 5th grade gift to the school.

Our Winstead Invest Soccer Tournament is on Friday, October 3rd on our school's track. Parents are invited to attend the soccer tournament and picnic lunch. We are in need of parent volunteers to help referee the games. Please click on this link to sign up: Parent Referee Sign up.

WILDCAT SPIRIT WEEK is October 13th - 17th!!

October 15th Pep Rally! Wildcats only, no parents.

October 17th at 6:00 pm This is our big annual family event, we hope you can join us as we celebrate our Invest Campaign success! Volunteers will be needed to help manage bounce houses, set up, clean up, work the concession stand, help with photo booths, and more! Volunteer Here. The Fall Book Fair will be open during Rock the Block from 6:00 to 8 pm!

On Smoothie Wednesdays, Jamba Juice offers smoothies to our students. Students can choose from Strawberry Banana or Peach Mango for $4 each. They come with a straw and lid, so students can take them to class. They are a huge hit, and sell out fast! Volunteer information here.

To pre-pay for smoothies, send a Venmo to @Lauren-Perry-21 by 9pm Tuesday night with your child's name, and they can pick up Wednesday morning. Cash is also accepted.

October 19th 2-4pm Help us keep our school grounds maintained. Volunteers are needed to help maintain beds by weeding, mulching and spraying beds. You bring your gloves and we will bring the popsicles. This is a great service project for Scouts.

October 22nd is our monthly treat for teachers and staff! You can find all Sunshine Cart dates here. Do you want to help setup and serve our staff? Let us know by emailing our Volunteer Coordinator.

Date TBD Help us show the faculty and staff at Winstead how much they are loved and appreciated. Event volunteers will help with preparing food, set-up, serving and clean-up. More information here.

October 6th - 10th No School - Fall Break. 

Starts October 17th The proceeds from the Fall Book Fair benefit our Wildcat's Library. Your child's shopping time will come home in your Wildcat's purple folder.

Starting November 10th 

Parents are welcome to join us for skating. We will need lots of extra hands to get all the laces tied up and protective gear on. Our skating unit begins on November 10th and concludes on November 21st. 

October 31st is a Site-Based Professional Development Day. No School.
